FLORENCE GRACE CADGER (nee KNOX) Peacefully at home on November 22, 2013, our mom passed away. Mom will be sadly missed by her daughters, Lois, Tracy (Phil), and Cindy (Neil), her grandchildren, Justin (Crystal), Carla (Cameron), Nichole (Mandy), David (Bella), Cassandra (Matthew), and Chelsea (Stephen), her great-grandchildren, Amy, Alexis, Hailey and Hazel. She also leaves behind her sisters Laura (Bill), Agnes (Bry), and many nieces and nephews. Born on September 20, 1934, mom spent most of her life in Pointe du Bois working for Winnipeg Hydro, where she and Teddy Henley raised us girls. She moved to Winnipeg in 1977 where she met Gerry. Upon retirement they enjoyed their home in Riverland until Gerry's passing. Mom enjoyed curling, and playing cards. Mom was known for her cooking and baking, especially her famous bacon buns. As per mom's request a private family interment will take place at a later date. THANK-YOU MOM, WE CALLED YOU A CAB, XOXO.

  • Aunty Flo, Uncle Teddy, Lois, Tracy and Cindy lived next door to us in Pointe du Bois. Our parents were good friends as were us kids. I will always remember Aunty Flo's cute giggle and kind ways, there was always room for me in her home. Rest in peace Aunty Flo.
