Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL A. CARROLL 1946 - 2013 Michael passed away at home in Vancouver, BC on November 9, 2013. He was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario on June 17, 1946, and moved to Winnipeg in 1953. He attended Glenlawn Collegiate in Winnipeg (St. Vital). He moved to Toronto in his early 20s, where he was employed by the Toronto Sun. He moved to Vancouver in 1987. Michael loved football, and was a true Blue Bombers fan all these years. He also liked to follow the Jets. Michael had quite the sense of humour. He was predeceased by his father, mother and sisters Gertrude and Margaret. He will be missed by his sisters Mary Ellen, Ali and Corinne Swartz. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in January at the Chapel, 10 Hallonquist Drive, Winnipeg. Donations may be made to Siloam Mission or Heart and Stroke Foundation.

I am with filled remorse with his passing, though we had only met a handful of times in Toronto and Vancouver we had enjoyed each other's company and I wish I had taken more time out of my busy life and spent it with him and availed myself to him much more than I did. He was a good honest man with a heart of gold.
