Always enjoyed a good whiskey & cigar with Bernie, a wonderful personality with an equally wonderful unlimited sense of humour and life's experiences. Conversations & advice I have always cherished from when we first met through common friend Dan Guitard at Winnipeg Beach Condo Complex - Posted by: Laurie Russin (Old Friend) on: Jan 07, 2014

I visited Great Auntie Voi and Uncle Mike several times during the WWII period when my father was overseas. (He was in a Japanese POW camp for nearly four years.) I played with the younger children in the family...Theresa and Allison particularly. Bernard I met a time or two but he would have been in and out. He was about 18 at the time. Sorry to hear about his passing. The times with the family were happy and very busy...and I remember thinking that Bernard was such a handsome fellow, as were his brothers! - Posted by: Pat Turcotte (Cousin) on: Jan 07, 2014

I remember Uncle Bernard detaining me on my wedding day to make me late for the church. He was quite a prankster! I wish I had made it to Manitoba to reconnect before his passing. - Posted by: Lynda Larsen (neice - daughter of Joseph) on: Jan 02, 2014
