Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILE HEBERT December 1, 1944 - January 19, 2014 With love and sadness, we regret to announce the passing of Cecile on January 19, 2014. She is survived by her companion Sterling Duguay and faithful dog Kobi. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Sherry Breneol (Tom), her son Mike (Pauline), her five granddaughters: Katie, Julia and Mallory Breneol and Rose and Jackie Hebert. She will also be missed by her sister Terry Garrity, and her brother Val (Carol) Maeren. She was predeceased by her husband Roger, her parents Albert and Yvonne Maeren, her brothers Jerry and Mitch Maeren, and grandson Jay Breneol. Cecile worked for the Provincial Government as a Councillor and was well loved by her colleagues, clients and especially her best friend Anne. Her compassion and understanding for others made her a wonderful person to work with. Cecile was the most generous and kind person anyone could ever meet. She was always happy, upbeat, even if it took her a while to catch her breath. She loved to shop. No one could keep her pace if she had a shopping cart in front of her. Scrapbooking was her passion and we are fortunate to have albums to always cherish and remember her by. She loved candy, hotdogs and could always be counted on for a piece of chocolate. Talking to and being with her family was the highlight of her life. As much as we all will miss her, we know she is now at peace and no longer suffering. Thanks to Dr. Joe and the nursing staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. Respecting her wishes cremation has taken place and a service will follow in the Spring. Date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Sherry, Mike and family.....I worked with your Mom in the late 70's at 880 Portage; played on the Government Baseball Team and then again from 2006 until she retired. She was pure joy and love. We experienced the love of her family from stories she told us to her shopping escapes for the grandchildren. She was such a giving person. We laughed daily with Cecile. I am so sad that Cecile has passed. My deepest sympathies to you and your families. Marlene Woltman - Posted by: Marlene Woltman (Colleague and friend) on: Jan 31, 2014

Deepest sympathy to the family from Bill and Linda Perkins. It was a honor to have known and worked with her since 1977. Will miss her smiles, jokes and smile at our twice a year Tony Roma's suppers. - Posted by: Linda Perkins (Co worker) on: Jan 25, 2014
