Her and I always exchanged greetings and she was always upbeat and happy (I always asked "when and where is your next cruise".   • We met Irene at Devil's Gap in Kenora. She welcomed us with open arms and mentioned every day that we were in "God's Country". Irena had a loving spirit and a smile for everyone.   • My deepest condolences to "Fergy", Lori, Cathy, Bruce and Family: Words just seem to pale in comparison to the magnitude of this very "Special Lady". During the past week I have reminisced with sadness, but also with much love and admiration, for the many ways that Irene has enriched not only my life over the past 35 years but the lives of countless others.   • I remember Irene as always being so proud of her children, and enjoying life. Taking dancing lessons with Fergy and my parents, going to galas at the officer's mess etc. She loved to be busy and brought the wrap scarf to Winnipeg!
