To my dear friend Eileen...I'm missing you! It feels weird not visiting you every week. You made my life better and happier. I'm going to miss the times we shared...ALL that laughter, the music, our drives and walks, drinks, food and treats! You got into the hearts of my Mom and I, and you are family now. I'm glad I was able to meet you, and you won't be forgotten! Bye for now "Miss Limerick" :-) - Posted by: Kyle (Friend) on: Mar 06, 2014

Aunty Eileen was an incredible lady and will be missed by so many. No longer living in Winnipeg, I last saw Aunty Eileen just 9 weeks earlier and she was still smiling and laughing as always (this is how I will remember her), and she looked so good as she usually did. I know we all enjoyed the time together then and I am happy we could visit. Aunty Eileen was always a joy to be with and I will always remember many fun times we had at her and Uncle Ralph’s house, watching the Grey Cup, dancing to her Elvis records, having dinner, and very early on – playing up in the attic. I shared her love of “sparkle” and so she so generously gave me a very special bracelet she used to wear on some of her fancy evenings out. I will prize that forever. She loved going to the Silver Heights Restaurant with anyone who would take her there, and so many times “we” shared her favorite ribs and some laughs. She did love to laugh and I believe that helped her survive a diagnosis of Breast Cancer late in life. The notice above also describes her so well. Aunty Eileen left us with many great memories. - Posted by: Lynn Wilson (from Victoria BC) (Great Niece) on: Mar 01, 2014
