Condolences & Memories (16 entries)

  • Dr. Katz was the first dentist we have visited, coming from the Philippines 27 years ago. He made everything fun and relaxed. You get a lollipop after your treatment which is pretty awesome coming from a dentist. I also remember how joyful he was with the triplets being born. Wherever your are, you are not forgotten, for you have made a lasting imprint in every patient you have met. For Mrs. Katz and kids, may the love of everyone ease your heartache. God bless. - Posted by: Lyn pineda (Patient) on: Jul 07, 2014

  • Phil was my dentist for 40 years. He was also dentist to my children. We will all miss him. This is such a shock. I just saw him a week before his passing. He was happy, smiling and focused. We always compare notes on our children as they are almost the same age. Please accept our deepest sympathies to his family at home and at work. We will keep you in our prayers. - Posted by: Debra Diubaldo (patient/ friend) on: Apr 02, 2014

  • We wish to send our condolences to the Katz family. We will miss Dr. Katz, he was always so kind to our entire family. He has looked after the Fontaine family, parents, grandparents, kids, nieces and nephews for as long as we can remember. He accommodated all of our crazy quirks when it came to visiting the dentist. He spoke very highly of his three children and his wife. You could tell that his family was very important to him. And he treated us like an extension of his family. We will miss you! - Posted by: Elsie & Chris Fontaine (Patients) on: Mar 26, 2014

  • I was so shocked when I heard the news that Friday. Dr. Katz took me in Wednesday to treat an infected wisdom tooth. He had advised me to get them extracted for over two years...and today I finally did. You were right, not that bad! Thank you for all that you did for me and my family, for the past 14 yrs of outstanding service, sincere compassion for the well-being of your patients and the humor you shared to always make the visit at the dentist more enjoyable. My sincere condolences to his wife, children and family. He truly was a wonderful person. Rest in peace - Posted by: Monica () on: Mar 22, 2014

  • As I am living in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia, I only just found out about the passing of my dentist, Dr. Katz. He has been my dentist since I was a teenager. I got married, had children and took my children to him. My girls are both in their 20s and we are all very sorry to learn of his passing. I remember one time Dr Katz was having quite the time trying to find out why my root canal was so painful. I had to go back 3 or 4 times, and it got to the point that he called me at home to see if I was still in pain. It was after hours and on a weekend! When I said I was still quite sore, he told me to get into the office the next day. It was Sunday and he opened the doors just for me. Talk about service!! He was an extraordinary person, who was sincere and considerate. He was funny, kind and above all, he truly cared for his patients' well being. We will miss him. Our sincere condolences, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. - Posted by: Cheryl Irvine, Leanne & Carly Chlopecki (Client - patient) on: Mar 20, 2014
