Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY EMILY LANGLOIS August 18, 1920 - March 27, 2014 Peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre Dorothy Langlois passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Edward (Ted), of 63 years, on December 2, 2008. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ted and Dorothy were long time members of the 419 Moose Squadron and enjoyed attending many reunions in Canada and England. Dorothy was also a long time volunteer, for over 30 years, for Meals on Wheels. At Dorothy's request, cremation will take place and no formal service will be held. The family gratefully appreciates the terrific staff at Deer Lodge Centre for the loving care of our Aunt. I first met Dorothy and Ted Langlois, some 60 years ago, we became good friends at the time. OVER ensuing years, we spent many happy hours together, I was single at the time and ate a lot of delicious meals with them and did some travelling together, they were so good to me during my lifetime and to my family. During the early years, Dorothy's parents, Mr & Mrs Pickering were alive and welcomed me into their lives and home. Ted and I were in the RCAF, so did not always live in the same area, but remained in contact with one another over the years, the last few years have been difficult and we were no longer able to communicate with them, even so, we will miss them, but in our hearts know they are at Peace and their suffering has ended. Dorothy and Ted have touched so many lives and have enriched all of our lives. We will miss them very much. Our sincere condolences to their surviving family members.
