• I am writing with a heavy heart to send my deepest condolences to Ida's family and friends. Ida was an angel on earth! She was the epitome of giving when she had next to nothing herself. She was always willing to lend an ear, give a hug , or offer you a helping hand whatever your situation was. I know personally she was my 'God-send' during one of the most difficult times in my life. Without her help and guidance, I can honestly say I dont know if I'd have survived as well as I did . Thank You My Friend, Ida.. May all your kindness and generosity be rewarded. • I knew Ida growing up as a child here in Winnipeg. I moved here when I was 7 years old. Ida was always very kind and gentle every single time I met her. This one time when I was 15 years old and pregnant she saw me on the street and hugged me always said Nikkikuluk... meaning beautiful nikki. When she saw me she gestured to give me a $5 bill and I refused. She immediately told me I had to feed the baby growing in my tummy so I graciously accepted her gift. That's how I'll always remember Ida. Always giving and loving. Always full of love and always caring. No matter what situation she was ever in she would have the beautifulness in her to give the shirt off her back for anyone. • I know Ida when we lived in Resolute and I have a nephew from her. I would like to Thank her for taking good care of my nephew. Ida was a kind generous person, she used to give us some food to eat. I will not forget her for giving me food to eat and her kindness. I wish to give condolences to her family and friends R.I.P.
