ANTOINETTE LOUISE GOLETSKI (HACAULT) Antoinette (Toni) was born in Bruxelles, Manitoba November 3, 1917 and passed away peacefully May 31, 2014 in Kelowna, B.C. in her 96th year. Predeceased by her parents Charles (1958) and Elisabeth (1989) Hacault (Lanouette), by her husband Frank (1997) and her daughter Rusti Clayton (2014). Survived by her brother Phil (Rose) Hacault, Olympia, Washington, Toni's strength and character will be lovingly remembered by her children; Ed (Eva), Winnipeg, Man.; Veronica Schnell, Kamloops, B.C.; Larry (Roberta), Kenora, Ont. and Richard (Deborah), Comox, B.C. She leaves a cherished legacy of six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Antoinette was the middle child in a farming family of 13 children. At a young age, Toni assumed the responsibilities of caring for her younger brothers until she married Frank Goletski on June 14, 1941 in Tolstoi, Manitoba. She raised her own family of five children on a farm near Tolstoi in a community where her first language (French) was not spoken. She loved to sing and was a member and director of her local church choir and worked as a nurse's aide in rest homes in Winnipeg, Ladner and Kelowna.
