Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYUKIKO FUJISHIGE 1916 - 2014 Yuki passed away peacefully on July 6, 2014 at Vernon Hospital, at the age of 98, with her immediate family present. She is survived by her daughter Helen (Art) Tonogai of Vernon, BC; son Paul (Terry Wheeler) Fujishige of Edmonton, AB; six grandchildren, Michael, Janine, Michelle, Heather, Lori and Kyle; many great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers. Yuki was predeceased by her husband Takeo, and daughter Amy. Our mother requested no funeral service or flowers. She will be cremated and her ashes will be taken to our family grave in Maple Ridge, BC. The family would like to thank her doctors and staff of Vernon Hospital and Carrington Senior Residence. Those wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Yuki may do so to a charity of their choice.
