Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA LOIS YOUNG Linda Lois Young passed away in Bastion Place, Salmon Arm, BC on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Linda was born at Brandon, MB on July 4, 1940 and had resided in the Shuswap area for the past four years after many years in Kenora and Winnipeg. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ken Rosenberger; daughter, Jacqui (Ken) Starr of Kenora; son, Jeff (Danielle) Young of Ottawa and grandchildren Nik and Sam Starr and Thomas and Jasmine Young. Also surviving is her brother, Charles Bird and sister, Maida Nielson. Linda was predeceased by her first husband, Jack Young. A celebration of her life will be held from the Knox United Church, 116-5 St. South, Kenora, ON on Sunday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. If so desired, contributions in memory of Linda may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Linda, a wonderful, compassionate and dear friend. My condolences to her husband, children and grandchildren. May the Lord's comforting arms surround you as you mourn her loss. Throughout our training we did many of our "Specialties" together. As new graduates we both started our careers at Winnipeg Children's Hospital on the Respiratory Ward. I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She was a very dear friend since we met back in Wpg at Dept of Pathology, U of Man. Linda was such a positive, upbeat and caring person. She will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Jacqui, Ken, Nick, Sam, Jeff, Danielle, Tommy, Jasmine and Ken & family. A wonderful cheerful and compassionate girl who loved life with many friends!! We particularly had great fun and fellowship with Linda and Ken in Palm Springs since their marriage. We loved her dearly and will always be missed...she has been taken away from us far too soon!!! May she rest in peace!!!
