Ed and I, worked for many years together at the Fort Garry School Division. Visited him many times at work and had many interactions through our Union. My deepest condolences to Joan his wife and Children. Will miss Ed although we hadn't seen each other since 2005, I did try to find out where he lived and wanted to visit with him this year but could not find him. - Posted by: Bill Giesbrecht (Co-Worker and Friend) on: Oct 18, 2014

We were so fortunate to have had you as our neighbor and more importantly as our friend. You were our community patrol and security system. We loved the many summer fire pit gatherings as well as the New Years that you braved the cold and lite the fire to welcome in the new year with your neighbors. I enjoyed talking about projects around our homes and swap stories as how we would tackle them. Our heartfelt condolences go to you, Joan and family. Ed,we will see you again over the hedge. - Posted by: Colleen, Tim, Stephen,Ian, Elizabeth, Danielle (former neighbour and friend) on: Jul 28, 2014

I will miss Uncle Ed. He was a wonderful person and a great father and uncle. I remember all the fun we use to have, camping, spending the summers with him and the family. We had so much fun. I'm glad that I was able to see him in December 2013. I will always have all these wonderful memories. My condolences to Aunty Joan and the rest of the family. Love you all and miss you all. - Posted by: Claudette Weissig (Niece) on: Jul 26, 2014
