ANNETTE MARY HAYKA Annette Mary Hayka, born on March 7, 1947 in Fort Frances passed away after her battle with cancer on August 1, 2014. She was 67 years old. She is survived by her daughter Vanassa, son-in-law Robert Wood, son Kevin and his wife Hedy, grandson Ian (Sarah) Selman and their daughter Ella Grace and grandson Aaron Selman and siblings Pearl, Don, Yvonne, Mary Anne and Jenette as well as nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9 at noon at Green Funeral Home. Mr. Dan Tausenfrende will officiate followed by a luncheon at the funeral home. The family would request no flowers but donations can be given in her memory to Colorectal Cancer Research or the Canadian Diabetes Association in care of Green Funeral Home, Box 427, Fort Frances, ON P9A 3M8.
