Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Shock - I had been phoning & leaving messages - then a few weeks ago the phone was listed -not in service, Googled and found this obit ...sad. Lindsay will be missed - a true loss. I have communicated with him over the years while he was in the US. Every time I was felling a bit down you could always call Linds & thru his stories, adventures and sense of humor you always hung up in a good mood- I am sad that I did not hear about this earlier, I had talked to him in Aug and he was recovering well from his operation & getting back on his feet. He left us way too early -my condolences to the family and his many friends - he is one that will be remembered - Posted by: Mike Rawluk (Friend) on: Oct 15, 2014

  • When Lindsay was General Manager at The Marlborough Hotel, I worked there in the position of Catering Coordinator. After working together for a short while we became good friends. Lindsay was a kind, fair, caring person with the greatest sense of humour and laugh. I can still hear his laugh and am so saddened that he has left us. Sending my prayers to his family and his friends for acceptance and healing. Lindsay will be greatly missed by so many. Be at peace Mr. B. - Posted by: Sharon Romanoff (Friend) on: Aug 26, 2014

  • I just heard the news today, that Linds passed, I am so sorry. My prayers and thoughts are with the Family and friends in particular your friend, Randy. Linds was a true friend to all and always had good word to say about everybody. What a true adventure he had working in places the rest of us dreamed about. Going to visit him at these places was a true adventure and honor. Linds I wish I knew that you were ill, I would have been there for you. May God Bless you and rest in peace my friend. Thank you for all the support and friendship you have given me. - Posted by: Nuno Camara (Friend) on: Aug 23, 2014
