KURT DUNCAN NEAL 9 years 108 months 3285 days How many conversations, touches, smiles, looks, parties have you missed, the list is endless. How we grieve ... is learning to live with loss. Kurt O, 2014 you, our baby would be 30 years old ... we don't take that word "old" lightly, we would love for you to have grown old, growing old is a gift, we know that NOW, extreme way to realize it. Just the other day we spoke about you again. Kurt will always be 21 years old (2 months and 3 weeks and 3 days old), you never had a wrinkle, grey hair, extra pounds. We would love Kurt O any way, wrinkly, grey, chubby, old. A good thing to remember when we look in the mirror and complain about the imperfections. Yet another 365 days have passed and we put our prayers/words to pen. 9 years/9 years without your child, brother is still wrong no matter how you look at it. Kurt O, you would be so proud of your brother, so very proud. Bart O is an amazing husband, daddy, as he was brother and son! Kurt, we cherish the memories we all made together, but we do feel deprived daily when you aren't here to continue to make memories with us. We often wonder, where would Kurt be living? working? would he be married? kid/s? Oh yes we miss every part, hint of you, it's scary the memory of your voice, your laugh fades over time. We ask how is that possible? You're our brother, son, not to remember that is unthinkable but so true and it scares us. On a happier note, you have a nephew, we know you already know. You are watching over us as God is watching over you and all of us. Charlie is a great big sister to her baby brother Cheek (Sammy), yes they have nicknames, just like their dad, Bart O and Uncle Kurt O, all so special, just as our boys were and are. Sammy was blessed to have his Uncle Kurt's name included in his name. Grampsy and Grammy treasure that blessing, as we are sure Cheek will over the years. We are so thankful, so very thankful. Hey Kurt O, come down for a ride in that gas powered golf cart at the lake, we all know you are just itching to take that puppy for a ride. We ride along, you're right there with us, always. We said to Bart, wouldn't Kurt have loved it? When you were little, golfing, you always begged, yes begged us to rent a cart, nope too much money. Now we have one but we don't have Kurt. Bart was quick to mention you definitely would have fixed up the G cart. Again we have so many things to share with you and that's why we have our talks with you throughout the year, praying, praying for you in Heaven, as we pray for our family here on Earth. Kurt we do love you and will always love you Kurt we do want you and will always just want/need a little of you. Please, just doesn't seem to work but we will never stop asking. Kisses and Hugs your way ... Keep on Keeping on ... Slurp ... Love you the Whole World Cheek, Charlie, Bart O, Jaclyn, Dad and Mom

I'm looking at yesterday, waiting for tomorrow. Only happiness is here and no more sorrow. You taught us laughter and to smile, life is a journey, worth every mile. Miss your smile kiddo! - Posted by: Pamela Miller (Family Friend) on: Aug 26, 2014
