ZENOVIA (SNOW) VIOLET DOVE CHAROWSKY Snow passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on May 5, 2014, at Lady Minto Hospital on Salt Spring Island, BC. Born in Goodeve, SK, on March 3, 1921, Snow was raised in Winnipeg, where she attended public school and Business College. She married Fabian (Bob) Charowsky in Toronto, ON, in 1942. Snow was predeceased by her parents, the Reverend Samuel and Olga Sawchuk; her husband Bob; cherished son John Paul; sister Lessia; and brother Zenon. She is lovingly remembered by her son Christopher (Jan) of Bowmanville, ON, and granddaughter Zena (Mark) of Regina, SK; brothers Leo ( Lynne) of Surrey, BC, and Joe (Pat) of Toronto, ON; sisters Yvonne (Roy) of Wellington, ON, and Daria of Calgary, AB, and Elaine (Richard) of Belleville, ON; daughter-in-law Kathy and grandson Paul of Salt Spring Island, BC; grandson Jarett (Louise) and great-grandson, Mason, Winnipeg, MB; and extended family of step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Ukrainian Orthodox funeral service was held on May 12, 2014, in Victoria, B.C. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 5, at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB.
