CLAYTON EDWARD WILLIAM MONBERG
Date of Passing: Aug 28, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLAYTON EDWARD WILLIAM MONBERG It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Clayton, on Thursday August 28, 2014 age 31 years, beloved son of Ted and Mary, brother of Tara (Glen), uncle and godfather of Gavin. Clayton is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins, and a very special friend, Monique. Clayton was all about people. If you were in his circle, either by blood or by choice, you were one of the most important people in the world to him. His loyalty had no limits; he forgave freely and loved as much. He had a love for music and a passion for cars. He enjoyed tinkering on anything in the garage with Dad and then leaving all the grime in Mom's freshly cleaned bathroom. Clayton had a lovely sense of humor and was never one to complain, even in his last days telling everyone that he was fine. Our family would like to thank the seventh floor staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and support. A service and reception to celebrate his life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Eternal Grace Funeral Chapel, 10-1111 Logan Ave.

I had the opportunity to meet Clay about 2 years ago, and became friends. There were many adventures with Clayton, including going for cruise night, and going to all kinds of Tim Hortons until the wee hours of the morning. I remember as well the many meaningful conversations that we shared, and being introduced to his sister Tara, brother in law Glen, and nephew Gavin. I offer my sincerest condolences to Ted, Mary, as well as Tara, Glen and Gavin. Also to the many family members and friends he left behind. May you all get comfort in knowing that he is in a better place. - Posted by: Chris (Friend) on: Sep 09, 2014

My deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time. Clay will be missed and never forgotten. He was such an amazing individual. He was a great friend to many and was accepting of everyone. He always had a smile on his face and something kind to say. I will never forget our Tim Horton coffee meets that ran until 6 am, Sunday night cruises, or the time he needed a ride because his car died due to a sock being stuffed up the exhaust. We will see you again soon Clay, I'll bring the cheesecake ;p RIP my friend. - Posted by: Kristin & Christian () on: Sep 09, 2014

My sincere condolences to you, Mary, and your family. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to get to know Clayton really well, but I am sure that the apple never fell far from the tree so he must have been a remarkable person such as you were during the time I had the pleasure of knowing you at our mutual workplace. You must have many great memories of Clayton so, in time, these memories will replace your sorrow. Memories never die! - Posted by: Michelle Juba (Friend) on: Sep 08, 2014

This is so hard for me to say here but I never had the chance to tell you in person Clay. I'm sorry, I was never nice to you in elementary school I followed the crowd and I am so sorry. School is hard and now grown up with kids it would tear my heart out if my kids were treated the way many of us treated you clay. I want to send my sincere condolences to your family and close friends in this time of pain. And for you clay i know you did not want to leave this life my only wish is that you found your peace. Another taken much to soon rest in Paradise clay. - Posted by: shelley samborski (friend) on: Sep 08, 2014
