Dearest Sybil was a very good friend to my parents Jim & Agnes Connel. I believe that Sybil attended my parent's wedding in December 1947. They remained close in friendship while we lived in Winnipeg through 1956. Seeing each other less because of our move to California, they relied on letter writing. As I began to visit Winnipeg more often, Sybil and Elaine McGregor and I would meet for lunch and lots of laughs. My sincere condolences to Sybil's family and friends. I know Sybil will be greatly missed as she leaves her beautiful legacy. May God bless the repose of her soul and grant her an abundant heaven. With love, Linda - Posted by: Linda Connel Revere (Friend) on: Oct 23, 2014

Sybil was Shannon's grandmother (my sister-in-law), who I had the pleasure of meeting several years ago. We only saw each other at family gatherings and holidays, which I drove her home from many times and she was always a very sweet, kind and funny woman. Sybil had interesting stories and was always a pleasure to be around. I was always happy to see her at family gatherings with the Bagot's It's sad to see her leave her family who loved her very much, although not many people can live to her age, living on her own, as healthy and vibrant as she was... RIP Sybil. I, along with your family will miss you. - Posted by: Juliane (family) on: Sep 08, 2014

To Norma, Russell, Eileen and family, My deepest condolences to the entire family in the loss of your Mom/Grandma Sybil. Sybil was a pretty special lady.... Caring, joyful, smart, giving, cheerful, and loving with her famous warm hugs. She was always happy to see people. I grew up with the card club (Matlock, toboggan parties, New Year's Eve parties, game nights) and I am forever grateful that our Moms had a lifetime long lasting bond as friends. This also continued their time together at Lion's Place. All of us will miss her deeply (including the granddaughters of Elaine). 2Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,I have kept the faith. - Posted by: Jill McGregor-Savoie (Family friend) on: Sep 06, 2014
