ALBERTA MAE SHIRKIE At the Henley House, St. Catharines on Monday, September 8, 2014 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late John A. Shirkie. Loving mother of Linda Kulesha and Rowan Shirkie. G'ma will be sadly missed by her granddaughters Stephanie and Katherine. Dear sister of Idabel (the late John) Grayston and the late Harold King. Mae was a nurse, retiring in 1975 after many years, a long time church member of Mountainview United Church and their U.C.W. A special thank you to the staff at Henley House for all their care and compassion. At Mae's request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment at a later date.
