Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRITA PROKSCH (RIEDL) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Proksch (Riedl) on September 12, 2014 at Concordia Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Fred and daughter Lisa. Rita was born January 23, 1935 in Austria and immigrated to Canada with Fred in 1955 to begin their life together. She enjoyed her winter holidays with friends, spending time at the cabin and playing bingo. At her request, there will be no funeral service. A private gathering with family and friends will take place to celebrate her life. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Thank you to the staff at Concordia 3E over the past few weeks, for their care and compassion.

Rita was a wonderful friend and we have had so many good times over the years, whether it be on holidays together or at the lake sitting around a fire, or playing a good game of canasta. What we wouldn't do to hear just one more time (with hand raised) BINGO! Or how about "I have a sweat". Our sincere love and condolences Fred and Lisa.
