ARTHUR OLIVIERO 1944 - 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear nephew, cousin and friend, Arthur, on September 11, 2014 at the age of 70 years. He leaves to mourn his aunts and uncles: Marie Blanche Oliviero-Gobin (Raymond), Isabelle Oliviero, Yvonne Philippot, Nathalie Jacques, Adrienne Troisfontaines, Cécile Philippot, Louise (Aimé) Badiou, Raymond (Laurette) Philippot, and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents André and Angèle Oliviero (née Philippot), sisters: Marie Louise and Andréa, aunts and uncles: Marcel Oliviero, Antoine (Victorine) Dequier, Jean Oliviero, Charles Oliviero, Julien (Claire) Philippot, Charles (Lucienne) Philippot, Alexis, Mariette and Josette Philippot, Isabelle Philippot, Arthur Jacques, José Troisfontaines, Henri Philippot and Joseph Philippot. The family wishes to thank; Dr. Gisèle Viens, Mgr. Roger Bazin, Soeur Cécile, the private care staff, Homecare, the Pavilion staff, Henri and Cécile Philippot, Robert and Josianne DeSmet, Dr. Hamilton, Dr. Fran Bérard and staff at the Notre Dame Hospital for their compassion and care while he was in the hospital. Funeral Services will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 19, 2014. Viewing and Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Father Alain Guenou officiating. Cremation to follow with interment to take place in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Claude Pavilion, Box 400, St. Claude, MB R0G 1Z0 or to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3.
