ROYSIE SANKAR It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Roysie Sankar, beloved father, husband, brother, grandfather and generous friend. Roysie passed away on September 15, 2014 with his family by his side. Roysie will sadly be missed by his loving and devoted wife Ena of 50 years, daughters Sandra (Kam), Cherrie (Shameer Kassim) and son Wayne (Terry). His grandchildren Kassandra, Rashad, Sabrina and Rianna. His sisters Rajkumarie and Rookim, as well as his brothers Balraj, Boysie and Krishna. He will also be missed by family and friends. His courage, sense of humour and strength will be greatly admired. Roysie was born in Trinidad on August 16, 1945. He moved to Winnipeg with his family in 1975. Roysie was employed at Dominion Bridge for over 30 years as a welder. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
