Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH ANNE TODD April 3, 1949 - July 4, 2014 Born in Belfast to Francis and Elizabeth Todd she grew up in Cheadle Hume, England and Montreal. Always a dancer in her soul from childhood she danced with Groupe de la Place Royale, Les Grand Ballet, Les Compangies de la Danse, Lionel Kilner Dance Company, Ballet De Wallonie (Belgium), Eddy Toussaint Compangie de Danse and various other groups. When dance was no longer a valid option she learned leather craft and was one of the most creative crafters for over a decade at the Winnipeg Folk Festival in the Hand Made Village. A warm, sharing and compassionate woman who never judged and always helped. She leaves behind to mourn her passing: long time friends Ken Newhouse and Bobby Stahr, siblings Helen, Frank, Janess and Heather as well as nieces Thetis and Bronwynn and nephew Drew. A memorial get together will be held at some point in the future and will be announced on a Face Book Memorial page to be titled Elizabeth (Betty) Anne Todd.

Elizabeth and I were dancers with Compagnie de danse Eddy Toussaint in Montreal in the mid seventies. She was already principal dancer when I joined the company and I was in awe of her talent. A marvellous dancer, indeed. I am sad to hear of her passing. One of the best choreographies in the repertoire at the time was a pas de deux she danced with Mario Pilon. He passed away May 21, 2016. I first met Elizabeth back in 2007 while in Hospital. We quickly became friends and I was even fortunate enough to obtain an owl feather and some leather crafts from her. Wonderful woman. I was hoping to see her again. I'll miss her. - Posted by: Andrew Thomlinson. (Friend.) on: Apr 13, 2015
