  • I have just learnt about Darry's passing and am at a complete and udder loss. He meant the world to me and was a rock to me even though we hadn't talked in the last few years. Didn't mean his teachings went to waste. I am suffering tonight and miss him more then I can say. ❤️ You were an amazing man with amazing daughters. Grow strong, grow proud, make your dad be so amazingly proud! Never forget his dreams for you. - Posted by: Dy Marsh (Friend ) on: Dec 04, 2015

  • My condolences to the family and friends. I don't believe I met the "other" Darryl although I was at Youth Parliament with James Muir so maybe there. We were at the U o fM at the same time and I remember that a professor had our research papers mixed up (same professor but different classes). - Posted by: Darryl R Toews () on: Mar 10, 2015

  • My sincere condolences on Darryl's passing. We were friends in university, especially through Youth Parliament and Debating Club. I remember Darryl with great fondness. Two occaisions stick in mind. Once, we debated the meaning of my Mennonite heritage at some length (and whether or not I could describe myself as Mennonite). The other was a quick, two day road trip to a debate tournament in Saskatoon. The drive there was in a white out, the drive bacl overnight after too little sleep. Darryl was the one other companion in the car who could drive, and as we all fought through the return trip, he and I took turns driving and keeping the other awake. Darryl was a lovely person, and I am happy to have had him as a friend. - Posted by: James Muir (friend at University) on: Jan 17, 2015
