We will miss Scortch's cheery visits to our recycling shop. We appreciated the way he took time to ask after the people working there. Darlene; Pam here...I hope we can visit together soon not just in passing* ...justpam - Posted by: Pam & Dave Weiss (Friend) on: Oct 16, 2014

Doug and I were childhood friends through our parents. Our births were only four days apart. We had many good times when the families got together (mostly at our farm in Manitou). I am sorry that we had not connected for decades. My sincere sympathies to all of the families for the loss of your loved one, (much too soon). May you find comfort in the many beautiful memories that you have of Doug. - Posted by: Pat Fedoruk (Bannister) (childhood friend) on: Oct 16, 2014
