I just found out about her passing or I would have been at the funeral. I stopped by to visit her in Miami every chance I had. I phoned Taber Home in early November to see if she was up to visitors. I was going to stop by again next time I was in Winkler. Really enjoyed reminiscing with her about her early years at Mt Nebo visiting with with my aunt Lizzie & Uncle Corney. Great lady with good family roots. She worked for my Mom & Dad for a summer at the farm near Holmfield when she was about 14 when Mom was pregnant in 1940. - Posted by: Don & Deborah Giesbrecht (First Cousin) on: Dec 06, 2014

We were very sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Anne. I have many memories of family gatherings at the farm with the adults visiting in the kitchen and living room and a whole gang of cousins roaring around coming up with ways to have fun. When it came time for the meal we would all get dragged into the house and enjoy a great home cooked meal. With all the hard work and confusion Aunt Anne always seemed glad to have us there. A fair bit of time has passed since those days and while we would like our parents to stay with us that is not the way it works. A fairly long and happy life is all we can hope for and I think Aunt Anne had that and so we cannot be too sad on her passing. I hope all my cousins and their families are fairing well and I apologize that we will be unable to attend the service. I will be thinking of all of you.
