People who have touched our heart are fondly remembered! We lived in the same town in Germany and I recall many family special events spent together, birthdays, Christmas celebrations, summer picnics on the hills. Memorable! In Canada we even worked together in the same department and shared much fun! Family ties and spiritual connections because of our shared faith in Jesus Christ will linger on! God bless you as a family as you reflect on the impact Tante Hulda had on each one of you! Love, Karin - Posted by: Karin Ristau (niece) on: Nov 24, 2014

Dear Sig, Karin and Norbert, No matter how long a loved one is gone, the beautiful memories linger on. I too share some childhood memories of having spent time with your mom. She apparently was the first of my aunts and uncles to hold me as a baby. Later we spent valuable time sharing memories of family and places in the old country. Precious! We also had some in depth spiritual conversations sprinkled with joy and sadness, laughter and tears. I guess that is how life is, mountain tops and valleys. May we all grow stronger through them all. Wishing each of you as individual families God's blessings.
