Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENZI CATHLEEN KOPANSKY July 6, 2014 - January 25, 2015 We are sad to announce that our time has been cut short with our baby girl. She was given wings to fly this past Sunday and will be watching over us from above. Kenzi was a baby with a big personality and her brief time here has left a lasting memory on those who had the privilege to meet her. Her toothless grin and infectious giggle will live on forever in our hearts. Kenzi loved watching the Jets games with her daddy and one of her favourite places to snuggle was right under his chin. Kenzi loved when Daddy tickled the back of her neck and whispered Daddy is here. She was also a mommy's girl and let her dress her up in pink bows. They loved their swimming lessons together and having "girl time" every day. She never let her mama walk out of the room. Kenzi loved her big brother Aiden and was his biggest fan attending every one of his hockey games. She looked up to him and thought he was so funny. She also had two fur brothers Tanner and Mickey who entertained her daily but were also her protectors. Kenzi always had to be one step ahead. She wanted "big girl" food before she had teeth, she wanted to walk before she crawled, and she sure was chatty! One of her favourite things to do was eat. This process usually took twice as long because she had to suck on her thumb after every bite. She also loved reading books and spending time in her Jolly Jumper. Our baby Kenzi was lucky to have a big family and many friends who loved her and will miss her deeply. We are so grateful for their love and support during this time. Thank you to the Firemen and Paramedics from station 15 as well as the team at Children's Hospital who never gave up hope on our girl, we are eternally grateful. You chose us Kenzi to be your parents, and we will cherish every minute we got to spend with you. Thank you for showing us the greatest joy and love we have ever known. You will always be our sunshine. Opa is taking care of you now, spread your wings and fly. Mommy and Daddy love you Punky, it's not goodbye, just see you again. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Children's Hospital in honour of her name. Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, CE501-840 Sherbrook St. R3A-1S1 www.goodbear.mb.ca Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 2 at 1:00 pm at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church at 1315 Gateway Rd. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
