We thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. We think of you in silence, we always speak your name. We have many, many memories and pictures in their frames. Your memory is a keepsake, with which we'll never part. God has you in His keeping, We have you in our hearts. We love you Daddy O with all our hearts and we love the stars because we believe that Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. Dearest Lolo, Ethan and Alix Thinking of Kerry and all of you and hoping that things are getting easier for you. Kerry is missed so much. His love for you Lolo was from a heart overflowing. He always spoke about having such a hard life and always spoke about how much love and laughter you brought into his when he met you. He was miserable before you and on cloud nine ever since he met you. Ethan and Alix were his treasures and he was so proud of them. ALL his conversations centered around you three. You were the reason he kept fighting hard and long his battle. He told everyone he knew how much strength he gained from you Lolo. You truly were the best thing that ever happened to him as he would say. Ethan and Alix he wanted so very much to be there for you, and he still is. Stay strong. Much love Jenn and Danny - Posted by: Jenn and Danny (friend) on: Jun 06, 2015

Dearest Lolo Ethan and Alix, it is important that you know how much your husband and father loved you. You guys were all that he lived for. He was so unhappy with his life before he met you Lolo. You gave him the love, support and encouragement that he felt he was missing from his life. He accomplished so many things with you that made him so proud and he wanted to be the very best he could be and with you he could. He always said he knew the moment that he met you that he would marry you and he did. Ethan and Alix you were the children of his dreams, he loved you both so much. His heart broke when he had to leave you but what he sees when he looks down continues to make him so proud. Stay strong and carry on in his name just like your doing. All our love x0x0x0 - Posted by: Jon and Janet (friend/coworker) on: Feb 11, 2015

Hi Lo, Ethan and Alix What a beautiful tribute to such a wonderful man. He was so proud of you Ethan and Alix he beamed when he would share your latest accomplishments and tell stories of everything you would say and do. His wish was for you to grow up to be happy and healthy he is watching you every day still and is right there beside you cheering you on and beaming to all the other angels. He loves you so much and hugs you everyday. Lolo he fought so hard and leaned on you you were his rock as he would say. You showed us how to face adversity with grace and perseverance and Kerry would tell us that you would never accept No as an answer you didn't understand the word and so you took Kerry to Mayo Clinic and fought for him and with him every step of the way and when he was to sick or tired to fight for himself you fought for him. He always said you saved him and gave him the extra time he had. He loved you with every inch of his heart and even more. I know that those stars shine extra bright and are always present over the Eckert home because Kerry is showing you his love every day and night. - Posted by: Jimmy (Friends and co-worker) on: Feb 10, 2015

Kerry was worried he would be forgotten. He felt that he had been forgotten before he met you Lolo and he didn't like his life at all. The love and laughter that he found when he met you was out of this world for him. He finally found the happiness, love, and support that he had been missing. Lolo, Ethan and Alix your dad loved you so very much you were the reason he fought so long and so hard. He has never left you, you can't see him but he always has his arms around you three. Feel his love today and always, love you Ryan - Posted by: Ryan (friend) on: Feb 03, 2015

You guys are making Kerry so proud by the way you keep his memory and his spirit alive. I know a dad could never love his kids more then your dad loved you, and Lolo he loved you so much no husband could ever love his wife more than he loved you. Stay strong and feel his love all around you. - Posted by: John (friend) on: Feb 03, 2015

Lolo, Ethan and Alix celebrate Kerry by remembering all the wonderful memories you have. Of all the families we know you four were amazing. Kerry's love for you three could be seen a mile away. His smile, his pride, his love it was always so visible. Ethan and Alix, a father was never as proud as your dad was of you. You are both the spitting image of him, your mannerisms and especially your hearts. Lolo you made his life. He always told everyone he never knew what love was until he met you. He never felt loved until you entered his life. You are amazing. He always called you his rock and over the last year you have shown how strong you truly are. In the hospital he told me that he could handle leaving this earth knowing that you would be there to remember him, to guide and teach Ethan and Alix and that he would do everything in his power to hug you and the kids every moment of every day. Feel him around you and be stronger because of it. Thinking of you and sending you healing thoughts. - Posted by: Crystal and Ben (friends) on: Feb 03, 2015

Oh dear Lolo, Ethan and Alixaendra how hard this is for you. Kerry loved you so very much and you were the reason he fought the cancer so hard. It was his wish to battle this disease and win so he could watch Ethan and Alix grow up and grow old with you Lolo. Kerry told us so often how he never felt loved until he met you, you Ethan and Alix were his world and though you are all hurting now he has never left your side and I too believe the stars tell us he is smiling down upon you. Lolo, Ethan an Alix let today be filled with Kerry's love. Love that was never ending for you, love that kept him fighting, love that made him who he was. You three helped him to keep going when he was tired. He wanted just one more birthday, one more christmas, one more chess game, one more vacation, one more horse ride. I know he is here with you and I know he is getting all those things he wanted so badly to do with you again. Be brave today, his love is all around you. Dear Lolo Ethan and Alix. Kerry would want today to be a day that you celebrated him, his jokes, his hugs, his fun, his conversation. He told us and everyone he could that you three were the best things in his life. He never felt loved or cared for until he met you Lolo. His life was not a great one until he met you. You, Ethan and Alix helped him to be the best he could be and he never stopped telling everyone how you made it all possible. He loved you guys so much. May that knowledge give you peace and comfort today. - Posted by: Sandi Tom and Family () on: Feb 03, 2015

Dear Lolo, Ethan and Alix how hard today must be for you three, though I am sure it has been no harder then the past year. Be strong, remember what Kerry wanted you to do today. Watch the video he made for this day, laugh, cry, but always know how much he loved you and why he fought so hard to stay as long as he could with you. He loved you so much he has not left your side.
