To know Bill, was to truly see Christ in the world. Bill always had something kind to say, and always smiled! We enjoyed similar hobbies, as well as being involved deeply in children's ministry at our respective churches. Bill, you are home. - Posted by: Troy Steingard (University friend) on: Feb 12, 2015

Thanks to Rudy and Faith Temple for hosting a wonderful tribute to Bill. I didn't see Bill regularly at work but whenever I did he always took a moment to ask how I was doing and about the family or vacation plans. Lucia, we only met you once at Bird's Hill beach a few summers ago but I remember fondly the conversation that my wife and I had with you and Bill and now regret that we did not get together more often as we promised each other. Bill often spoke about his faith and the importance of Christian education for our children. My father passed away at age 62 when I was 17 so I can relate. It was not so sudden but my mother was devastated and only through the grace and love of God and family and church family did she survive the depression that followed. She is turning 96 soon and has been a widow for almost 40 years now. I pray for Lucia for God to comfort her and strengthen her also during these difficult moments when you are now burying your lovely Bill. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (Psalm 116). - Posted by: Richard Buist (Colleague) on: Feb 09, 2015

Dear Lucia, Daniel, Stephanie, Barbara, James, Paul, Margaret & Family, I am praying the God of all comfort will comfort your family. Bill was always cheerful, friendly and was a wonderful, loving, caring husband and father. I remember often seeing him visit his Mother's home on his evening walks with his beloved beautiful wife Lucia. He will be greatly missed. May God bless your family with his shalom. Bill is not here, he is risen to heaven to receive his great reward in heaven. Blessings, Your Friend Linda Bennett - Posted by: Linda Bennett (Friend of the Taylor Family) on: Feb 08, 2015

While a shock to hear of Bill's passing, it is comforting to know that he is now in paradise. May God especially uphold you, Lucie, Daniel and Stephanie. We pray that God give you strength and confidence, in Him, as you continue to learn to live without husband and dad being present. How good to know that Bill was received in his heavenly home, with the words, "well done, thou good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter in the joy of your master." I spent one weekend at your home while attending a Ukrainian Conference in Winnipeg and much appreciated the welcome and care of Bill, Lucie and the kids. May God give all of you an extra measure of strength during this very difficult time. Dan & Nellie Ciona - Posted by: Dan & Nellie Ciona (Friends) on: Feb 07, 2015
