She also fostered many overseas children and volunteered at the Morris M.C.C. for many years. As we all know, Mom was totally selfless throughout her life, always placing others needs before her own. She had unfailing faith in God, and showed strength of character and determination in the face of sometimes extreme adversity. Kay's family would like to thank Dr. Fraser, Dr. Manness, and the staff at the Morris General Hospital for their care during her illness. Very special thanks go to the entire staff of the Red River Valley Lodge for the loving care they provided to her in the past two years. They helped Mom and all of us through her journey, and for that we are very grateful. We so much appreciate all they did for her. We couldn't have asked for a better place for Mom to spend her final days. In lieu of flowers, if people wish, donations can be made to the Red River Valley Lodge or a charity of your choice. Remembering and praying for you all as you say goodbye. I have such special memories of my visit with her the last time she came to see Mom and know that she is experiencing a wonderful reunion with so many at the feet of her Savior. She was an amazing example of faith and courage and she is receiving her reward for that now. Love & prayers, Candyce - Posted by: Candyce DeKruyff (Neice) on: Mar 11, 2015

My thoughts are with you today as you gather to remember Aunt Tina (she'll always be Aunt 'Tina' to me!). I'm sorry that distance has kept me from attending the funeral. She was a well loved and greatly admired Aunt! - Posted by: Denise Braun Barbier (Niece) on: Mar 11, 2015

Sending our deepest condolences to all the family. We got to know your mom fairly well when Joanne was with us. She was a very strong woman and I know you will miss her terribly. May the good memories of the past stay with you and provide you some comfort. Thinking of you at this difficult time. We are unable to make the funeral due to illness. - Posted by: Terry & Gale Gibson () on: Mar 11, 2015

My Dear Cousins, We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Kay's passing. I will never forget at the last family reunion how I wondered if she was one of her daughters she was that young looking! We are sorry to not be able to come for the funeral but we are thinking of you at this sad time. With Love and prayers. Dolores - Posted by: Dolores and David Danard (Niece) on: Mar 10, 2015
