EDITH SHUPER (nee KOLTON) It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Edith Shuper. She passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 88 years. Edith is survived by sisters, Mary Bruchanski, Nellie (Pete) Tesarski, Lorette Hanshar, Alice Bruchanski, Hazel Hoplock; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years of marriage, Bernie (Bronislaw) Shuper in May, 2013; two brothers, John and Ted Kolton; sister, Anne Kolton and parents, Steve and Tekla (Krawchuk) Kolton. Edith and Bernie enjoyed some wonderful trips throughout their life together with great friends, and they could often be found enjoying time together at the Casino. As per Edith's wishes there will be no formal Funeral Service. A small family gathering celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Thank you to family and friends for their visits as well as the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Concordia Hospital for their care during Edith's final days. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Edith's memory to Heart and Stroke, CancerCare Manitoba, or a charity of your choice.
