Madeline was a wonderful caring neighbour to my Mom who lived across the lane. As I did not live in Winnipeg, she spent time visiting my Mom, Jean, making sure she was OK. They shared a love of their gardens and when it was not possible for my Mom to look after hers, Madeline took it upon herself to do this.
