LOUIS NORMAN PARADIS It is with sadness that the family announces Louis Paradis (born January 19, 1929) passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Health Science Centre. Left to forever cherish Louis' memory are his companion of 39 years, Julie Hall and her family; his first wife, Shirley Paradis; his daughters, Jacqueline and Kelly; sons Kevin, Douglas and Kenneth and their families (spouses, children and grandchildren); as well as his five sisters, Angelina, Ethel, Frances, Joyce, Muriel and their families. Louis loved to sing and play his Martin guitar. He would entertain family and friends at every opportunity. His favorite music was Country and Western. Louis' favorite star was Hank Williams Sr. and it could be said he was Hank's most enthusiastic fan. He was a hard worker and liked to fix things. The more challenging the better he liked it. Louis loved goose hunting and long drives in the country. He also like to tell funny stories with much animation and lots of embellishment and zeal. He was happiest when he made people laugh. The impressions Louis left will not be forgotten and he will be missed. In compliance with Louis' wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held.
