• I remember Ray from my teen-age years. If my memory serves me correctly, Ray lived in, or near, Flora Place back then. I also have a vague memory of him having a connection with the PPCLI, though I don't recall whether it was he who was a member, or was it his older brother. Other memories of Ray include hangin' out with Albert Wesa at a restaurant on McGregor and Mountain Ave, which of course is no longer there. I'm also reminded of hangin' out with Ray at the old Dew Drop Inn. After my marriage in 1954 and subsequent enlistment in the Canadian Army Signal Corps, we lost track of each other, but I do seem to recall that Ray used to work at a Canadian Tire Store on Isabel and Notre Dame.
