Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORNE HAKANSSON 1956 - 2015 Sadly on May 22, 2015 Lorne passed away. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Chris, and his children Erik and Alena. He will be mourned by numerous family members and friends and remembered fondly by the many lives he touched as a salesman. Lorne was kind, generous, funny and a wonderful storey teller. He began each day well before the sun and truly enjoyed any drive regardless of the destination or length of ride. Dad, you were loved and will be missed. A come and go reception will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, on Sunday, May 31 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Chris: I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Lorne's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Lorne's sense of humor, and quick wit, and great smile. I will remember the many fun times we had camping & hanging out when we were so young. Much love to you and the kids. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Lorne's passing. He was a very funny, likeable guy and I will miss his funny stories and all the great jokes that he would tell me at work.
