URSULA L. SCHWAHN (nee RATHKE) It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Ursula L. Schwahn on Monday, May 25, 2015, peacefully, after a long and slow decline in health, at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, at the age of some 11 days shy of her 95th birthday. Left to forever cherish Ursula's memory are her elder son, Juergen; granddaughter Sonya Briggs (nee Schwahn); great-granddaughter Patience Schwahn, all of Kingston, Ontario; as well as nephews and nieces in New York and in Germany, and a cousin in Germany. She was predeceased by her husband Karl after 60 years of marriage, and by her younger son Roland. Ursula's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard.
