Although I never had a chance to meet Dennis, this special man must have passed his personality onto his lovely daughter and I feel blessed to know her. Sabrina - your eyes sparkle just like they say your Dad's did. xoxo He's with you in heart and spirit now. My condolences to everyone who knew Dennis and benefited from having him in their lives. - Posted by: Tennille Bartelings (Friend of Sabrina) on: Jul 09, 2015

The Dog Park is not the same without Dennis. You couldn't miss him, striding around the field no matter what the weather. Even when it was -40 he'd be out there and from a distance you knew it was him from his walk. Once we'd meet up, all you could see were his eyes, twinkling at you as he said "Lovely day!" Everyone at the Dog Park misses him dearly. Heather & Family, you have our deepest sympathies. He will never be forgotten. I didn't see Dennis in the store all that often, but he was always so kind. I could see the bond that he had with Heather, and I always enjoyed his visits. Despite the fact that we saw each other every couple of months, he remembered my birthday. He was a very kind and loving man. - Posted by: Heather Forgie (Former employee) on: Jul 09, 2015

I first knew Dennis back in Rainhill Merseyside playing soccer for Rainhill St Annes. He played soccer like in lived life, always hustling and as they say in horse racing on The Engine, go go go. We drifted apart over the last 30 yrs meeting up just once. I have never forgoten his boundless energy and cheeky grin when he pulled one over on you. My condolonces to Heather, Sabrina and Friends. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend. Eric - Posted by: Eric Beesley (Friend) on: Jul 08, 2015

Back in the day in England I played football with Dennis worked with him came to Canada with him and partied with him on both sides of the Atlantic. Dennis played football like he lived life always hustling and on the engine go go go. Over the last thirty years we drifted apart seeing each other only once, nevertheless I always remember his cheeky smile and the laughs we had together. He was a great friend, always there to support and help you and will be sadly missed. My sincere condolences to Heather, Sabrina and Friends. - Posted by: Eric Beesley (Friend) on: Jul 08, 2015
