Date of Passing: Jul 03, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALLACE ALBERT CHITTICK November 6, 1924 - July 3, 2015 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad on July 3, 2015 at Deer Lodge Centre, Tower 7. Dad will be forever loved and sadly missed by his daughters, Laurie (Tony) Cubbidge, and Kim. Wally was predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley, his parents, and his sister Joyce. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Wanda (Jim) Beaton, Sharon (Wilf) Talkington, and many nieces and nephews. Wally was a quiet and gentle man whose love of family, friends, and animals defined his life. The twinkle of his blue eyes and shy sense of humour touched the hearts of all who knew him and will be greatly missed. In accordance with dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment was held. The family would like to thank the staff of Deer Lodge Centre T7, T5, and T3 for their compassionate care and kindness, especially during difficult times. Also a heartfelt thank you to Sid, a wonderful friend and companion who made such a difference in dad's last years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to D'Arcy's A.R.C., 730 B Century Street, or Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue. I have very fond memories of Wally & Shirley. We had a lot of good times together. Will be thinking of Laurie & Kim at this time. Glenda Horn - Posted by: Glenda Horn (Friend) on: Jul 11, 2015
