My mother in law Jeanette Jurkowski knew Norman for approximately 10 years. They met each other for the first time at River East Nursing Home where his wife, Ivy and Jeanette's husband Ted were in care. She fondly has spoken of Norman as a gentleman and having quite a sense of humour. Jeanette's family have spend several occasions with him and always spoke highly of Norman. He will be missed. - Posted by: Catherine Jurkowski (friend) on: Jul 24, 2015

I remember you through many years of playing with the Prairie Gophers. My dad, Bert Duncan, Ralph Jackson and you would play together for many years way back in the day! You played the "bones" and the washer-board. People really enjoyed your solos and you were in your glory in doing so! Also, on Rememberance Day, we would all sit together at the Legion on Brazier St.for the service and the great meal. Ivy passed on before you and now you have joined her. May peace and the love of the Father in Jesus hold you forever in Heaven. God Speed! - Posted by: Pam Tait (daughter of long time Band-buddie Robert Tait) on: Jul 16, 2015

Good ole Norm. A very quiet man who listened more than he spoke, but when he did, it was well worth the wait! Kind, considerate and very funny. You'll be sadly missed by me & the cronies, so God's speed Norm, God's speed. - Posted by: Mendy Wolchock (Friend from the "Coffee Club" at McDonald's) on: Jul 11, 2015
