Deidre & I were close friends when we were about 15 & 16 but went to different schools & lost touch when I graduated & left the area. I regret not keeping in touch as she was a generous loving person with a good sense of humor and a gentle nature. She will have left her family with lots of memories to cherish & may they be blessed with her many qualities. - Posted by: Elaine Brown Schlivinsky (high school friend) on: Jul 20, 2015

Though Deidre and I lost track of each other, I often thought of my childhood friend. She had a loving spirit and was a true friend. I was sorry to lose contact with her. It is a tribute to her to have been blessed with many family members, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I would have loved to stay in touch and know her family. May it give her family comfort to know that if her heart was as big as I knew her in high school she was a wonderful grandma and mom. Condolences to all those that loved and will miss her. - Posted by: Carol (Bannister) Brown (high school friend) on: Jul 18, 2015

It was Donna, not Holly. I was not born when she passed away and always got the names mixed up. - Posted by: Nadine (Daughter ) on: Jul 15, 2015

One of my finest Metis friends. I'm sorry for all of you who loved Deidre as I did. It was shocking and painful to hear the news of her sudden death. Deidre was a good friend for many years and the times we laughed will always stay in my memory. God Bless this fine lady forever and ever. - Posted by: randy ranville (friend) on: Jul 15, 2015
