REGINALD JAMES STEPHENS Passed away peacefully in his 91st year, with his family by his side, on July 26, 2015 at Mackenzie Health Centre. Reg was predeceased by his loving wife Alma, to whom he was married for 67 years, and was a devoted father to Wendy and Douglas (Meredith). Predeceased by his son James. Loving grandfather to Jaime Kulik (Jeff), Reilly and Connor. Father-in-law to Ed Calusinski. Reg and Alma met and married in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Shortly after their marriage, Reg served his country in the Second World War as a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Over the years, they and their children lived in many cities in both Canada and the U.S. A self-made man, Reg worked in a variety of fields, eventually becoming a senior executive with Allstate Insurance and later a successful entrepreneur in a variety of business ventures. A private, family service will be held to celebrate Reg's remarkable life. Thank you to the doctors and staff at MacKenzie Health for their compassion and caring. Donations may be made to the Canadian Alzheimer Association or The Salvation Army. Reg will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him and whose lives he touched.
