How we have missed you and your quiet peaceful spirit. God brought you and I together some 52 years ago, redeemed us, changed us both and united us. You became a precious jewel in His family. We had many good years together and you were so gracious and loving through the difficult, hard times. In these last ten years when your illnesses began to take all their toll on you, you never complained as you trusted and knew you were under God's loving care, no matter what. You were such an inspirition to me and others who knew you. I came to love you more and became much closer to you than ever before. I and our family miss you and your gentle presence so much. Kathy truly had a very quiet gentle spirit and her smiles were always so loving and warm. We miss her presence and strength. Her deep faith in God was truly her anchor in all her health challenges. We also miss her wonderful desserts. She shared many a real tasty treat as she generously served yet another delectable favourite tested recipe from one of the school staff or colleagues. She is gone but not forgotten. She left an imprint on our lives. Praying for you, Richard, your 3 lovely daughters and their families. May God comfort all of you and give you courage to go on.
