Blake, you will be missed. I so enjoyed the times we got together and talked about the struggles of life, and about Jesus being with us in those struggles. I knew you as a guy with a huge heart for people and as a guy who wanted to get involved by helping others in whatever way you could. You were a very involved member of the Seven oaks' church family and we will all miss you. You were one of us, and now you are gone. Blake, you were my friend and I am deeply grieved that you are gone. Raina and Kirstin, I am so sorry. You have lost your dad. Robert, you have lost your brother. May you experience the peace of Jesus, the peace that passes all understanding in this time of grief. Lyle Magnus Sevenoaks Church, Abbotsford, BC. - Posted by: Lyle Magnus () on: Sep 02, 2015

I am so sorry to hear about Blake's passing. I always enjoyed and appreciated hearing Blake's 'take' on the news, elections, the achievements and foibles of people in the news, and catching up on what he and common friends were up to. And we never missed the chance to laugh at the eccentricities and interplanetary behavior of our Vancouver neighbours. Blake, as we say in Surrey to visitors and newcomers: DUCK!!
