Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE TROJANOSKI (nee SMYRSKI) October 8, 1922 - August 29, 2015 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Pauline on August 29, 2015 at Oakview Extendicare in Winnipeg at the age of 92 years. Pauline was predeceased by her husband John in 1986. Pauline is survived by her children, Dianna (Brian) of Calgary, Barry (Sharon) of Comox, Gail (Lloyd) of Garson and Les (Sherrie) of Calgary. In addition, her three grandchildren were her pride and joy: Terry (Andrea) of Airdrie, Stephanie (Jeff) of Calgary and Ryan of Garson. Pauline was born in Thalberg, Manitoba and raised on the family farm, then had jobs in Winnipeg and Toronto before marrying John in 1949. John and Pauline worked their farm in Glenmoor until 1971 when they moved to Pinawa. In 1980, they moved to Winnipeg where Pauline spent the remainder of her life. Pauline was family-oriented and spent much of her time visiting her siblings and in-laws when she wasn't with the children or grandchildren. Pauline's favourite time was her weekly trip to Beausejour to visit her sister Tena. We appreciate the care she received from all those at Oakview Extendicare and the Grace Hospital. As per Pauline's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. She hoped that everybody who cared about her would remember her and relive their fondest memories of her on their own terms and in their own timeframe. Rest well mother / grandmother. You will always be in our hearts. You are finally at peace.

Our most sincere condolences to Dianna, Barry, Gail, Les and families on the passing of a wonderful lady, woman, mother and Aunt. Aunt Pauline lived through a time of huge growth and change in Canada and she was one of the people who literally helped to build and shape the wonderful place where we live. Her strength, kindnesses and joy for living brought blessings to so many, I believe to everyone she touched. She lives on in our memories as a warm, dear and sweet person who was a pleasure to know and share some of our best times with. God will bless her soul through those she touched. - Posted by: Arvid and Bernice Hardin and family. (Nephew) on: Sep 19, 2015
