Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRIETTE LINTOTT One month shy of her 93rd birthday, Henriette died peacefully in the early morning of September 2, 2015. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Clarence (Lindy), her brothers Roger and Robert, many in-laws, and dear friends. Her six children Doug, Jeanine, Lawry, Christal, Susan, Ken, and their families which include 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, will carry forth her gift of love and creativity. Her sisters Terry, Marie, and her sister-in-law Rita will miss their big sister. The extended family through her marriage to Lindy on September 12, 1946 will remember her with fondness. Henriette was born on a homestead near Grand Clairiere on October 1, 1922, and moved to Lac du Bonnet as a young girl. It was there that she met Lindy and they were married. The two remained "very much in love" as their family grew. She tended homes, gardens, and children in Winnipegosis, Mafeking, The Pas, and Mitchell, Manitoba. She returned to her childhood home in Lac du Bonnet with Lindy in retirement. Henriette would often reflect with pride on the big and beautiful family she had created. She cherished this legacy. Many happy memories were made knowing and loving her. Thank you to her caregivers at Victoria Park in Regina where she lived for seven years, and to those who cared for her at the Regina General Hospital in her final days. A funeral service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba at 1:30 p.m. on September 12, 2015. A private interment of the ashes of both Henriette and Clarence will reunite them forever in Lac du Bonnet where their journey began.

When Susan brought me to meet her parents Henriette made pea soup, a dish I hated. I nibbled at it to be polite and to my amazement it was delicious. Henriette and I laughed about this for years and she always explained to me how she made it so delicious!! Henriette also had a huge heart and she always made me and our family welcome in her home. I will truly miss that, rest in peace Mom, Love Kyle. - Posted by: Kyle Korneychuk (son in law) on: Sep 09, 2015
