Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLA MARJORIE FERGUSON (nee JAKEMAN) Viola Marjorie Ferguson, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, was born in Roblin, Manitoba on March 22, 1922 and passed away after a brief illness in the Victoria General Hospital on September 19, 2015. While working in a computer office in Calgary she met and married Doug Ferguson, an RCMP officer. They were stationed in various northern communities. After a lengthy illness, Doug passed away. She married Lloyd O'Morrow on October 9, 1981. They lived a long, happy life together, enjoying many winters in Arizona. Vi served in the Armed Forces in the Second World War. Vi was very musical, playing piano, organ and as a member of a band. She enjoyed clogging and was an avid needlepoint artist. Vi is survived by her husband Lloyd, of 34 years, son Randy, grandson Jamie, sister Ada McBride, and nephews and nieces. Family and friends will sadly miss her. At Vi's request there will be no funeral service. Reception for family, friends, and neighbours will be held in the Common Room in the basement of 685 St. Anne's Rd. on October 14, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
