Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARISE CHAPNICK (BUBIS) Clarise Chapnick (Bubis) passed away at age 83, peacefully and with her family by her side, on August 30, 2015. Clarise was born and raised in the North End and graduated from Saint John's Tech. She had a close and loving marriage of 62 years with her husband Allan. Clarise was hospitalized in September 2014 and from there, was in interim care at the Misericordia Hospital and subsequently settled at the Simkin Center. Allan visited daily, despite his mobility challenges. Clarise was very close to her parents, siblings, husband, children and grandchildren. She loved life on the road in a travel trailer and life in the Gimli Trailer Park. She loved travel in general, and made it her career. Clarise would end a conversation in which she disagreed with you with "you may be right". She was an ethical, kind, and loyal person and missed deeply by those that were her friends, those that were loved by her, and who loved her.
