It's almost been a decade now since her passing. My sweet Bubby Sybil is still with me in my heart, and will always be. I didn't have the chance to spend a lot of time with her, she fell ill when I was quite young, barely a child. What I do remember clearly is her love. Her unwavering love for her husband (May Boomie's soul rest in peace along with hers), her strong love for her children, her further love for her grandchildren, and I, one of her great-grandchildren, was another recipient of that unconditional love and care. Despite the size of her family, it seems she never ran out of love to give. I do remember getting in trouble only once at her home for sliding across the carpet on what I believe was a dinner tray when I was three or four years old. Even her discipline was loving. She did not raise her voice, she was not impatient, and even back then I could grasp that all she wanted to do was make sure I was safe. I knew whenever I was around her, I would be safe. I'm writing this as I want to give my Bubby one final thank you, and an "I love you too". -Love, Casey - Posted by: Casey (Great grandchild) on: Nov 02, 2024
